Why a chemistry and physics calculator, not just a calculator
A plain scientific calculator gets the arithmetic right and leaves everything else to you: looking up atomic masses, balancing the equation, remembering which kinematic equation drops the unknown you don't have, converting millilitres to litres before dividing. Those steps, not the arithmetic, are where most marks are lost.
